I.S.I. srl Italian Window Industry, San Martino di Lupari (PD)
Interview with Dr. Mattia Baggio, Technical and Production Director
The collaboration between ISI and GRAF Synergy began back in 2008. We needed to improve both our production processes and the quality of our products, and the cutting-edge machinery from GRAF Synergy, both technologically and in terms of production logistics, immediately caught our attention. With GRAF Synergy, we have always had a constructive dialogue that has allowed us to develop new solutions for our products.
Over the years, we have equipped ourselves with various GRAF Synergy machines and technologies, such as the CUT500 and MULTIFAB, the LINEAR CUT-FAB with a stacking unit, the SL4 FF-EVO, a tool bench, the HDMV, and recently, we have enhanced our production layout with a new SL4 FF EVO and the FAZ IV, further increasing our level of internal automation, including with automated warehouses.
The strengths that led us to choose GRAF Synergy over other competitors were their technological innovation, technical expertise, innovative ideas, reliability of machinery, and, not least, the customer service, which is one of GRAF Synergy’s true strengths. Thanks to the high precision of their processing, the quality of the finishes, and logistical efficiency, GRAF Synergy’s machinery has significantly improved the quality of our products.
We have seen an increase in productivity and efficiency at our facility with every new machine purchased from GRAF Synergy. We have never encountered compatibility issues between GRAF machines and other tools used in our company, and this has been made possible through excellent mutual collaboration.
During the design, procurement, and execution of our project, our relationship with GRAF Synergy has been decidedly positive, characterised by their availability and constructive dialogue. The outcome has been our complete satisfaction, and even improvements over the initial project.
The Fast Forward Plant process logistics of GRAF Synergy has positively impacted our production process and organisational structure, enhancing order within the facility and reducing profile waste through automated handling. This has allowed us to save time both in product movement and processing, improving work organisation and employee efficiency, thanks in part to the ability to monitor production status in real-time.
Despite the advanced technology we have equipped ourselves with, we have not faced significant difficulties in using GRAF Synergy’s machines, thanks to the training provided to our operators by the company.
The transformation that impressed us the most at ISI, before and after collaborating with GRAF, was the improvement in the aesthetic quality of the products and the production flow.
In every piece of machinery we purchased, there has been a unique customisation tailored to our needs, so much so that the synergy with GRAF Synergy, both in name and in practice, has led to a significant improvement in our production efficiency and the quality of our products.
