GRAF Synergy, renowned and appreciated for its production of machinery for PVC windows, holder of the exclusive V-Perfect patent that allows for perfect corner welding without seams and without the need for touch-ups or cleaning, will be one of the undisputed stars of the upcoming FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, scheduled to take place from 19 to 22 March in Nuremberg.
The company from Nonantola (MO) will present several innovations at the important event in a world premiere.
At the GRAF Synergy stand, a true “technology square” spanning over 600 square metres, visitors will have the opportunity to see and experience innovative machines and technologies for the first time, which will once again revolutionise the PVC window production sector, just as the V-Perfect patent did in the recent past.
Here are a few brief previews:
Fab Cut 3B RS: a multi-axis CNC cutting and machining centre designed for window and door manufacturers seeking even higher productivity levels, achieving up to 500 square metres in 8 hours, depending on the operations, type of profile used, and machine configuration.
Faz IV: a workstation designed and built for the automated assembly and screwing of hardware onto PVC window frames, achieving an exceptionally high execution speed. It can produce a finished frame approximately every 50 seconds, depending on the specific processes, type of profile used, and machine configuration.
SL8FF TR RS: the world’s first and only 8-head CNC welding machine that completely eliminates the welding seam from the corner, allowing for uniformly high-quality PVC windows with superior aesthetics. A natural evolution of the SL4-FF Evo with 4 heads, it can simultaneously weld the 4 corners of a complete PVC frame with 2 transoms. In a groundbreaking innovation, it is also capable of independently welding door thresholds, resulting in significant time and labour savings. All of this is achieved without the need for cleaning or subsequent touch-ups.
HDMV: CNC vertical bench for automatic hinge drilling and assembly. It is the ideal solution for fully automating the drilling and assembly of hinges: the bench is designed for integration into an automated window production line and offers the capability to mount hinges on intermediate posts as well.
GBA 200: a controlled-axis cutting centre for cutting PVC glazing beads, is an automated system that allows for very fast and automatic cutting of glazing beads. Due to its high level of automation, operator intervention is only required for loading the glazing bars and retrieving the finished pieces. The gripping system has been designed to tension the glazing bead longitudinally to prevent vibrations and bending during cutting, and it also offers incredible flexibility in using new profiles, which can simply be added in programming without the need to modify the gripping templates.
SHUTTLE: an essential element for automating factory logistics, designed to automate the loading, handling, and unloading of workpieces; it enables the directing and sorting of panels to and from any motorised and/or welding structure. The machine is part of GRAF Synergy’s FFP – Fast Forward Plant strategy, an integrated solution for custom, turnkey automation of the flow of processed materials, coordinating movements within the factory with precise timing to achieve high operational speed and a significant reduction in both labour costs and damage to finished products.
Finally, two new technologies will be unveiled in a world premiere, set to make waves throughout the entire window and door industry, and beyond:
Steel Cut – CONNIE: a revolutionary blade cutting centre for the steel reinforcements of PVC window profiles, combined with a unique module for welding the metal sections of the internal reinforcements within the PVC profiles. It employs a completely innovative approach to eliminate waste from the metal sections, which would otherwise be discarded and recovered as scrap metal. This offers window manufacturers tangible benefits that were previously unattainable, both in terms of environmental sustainability and economic efficiency.
PVC PRINTER: The GRAF Group has successfully developed an innovative technology capable of printing on PVC across a wide variety of surfaces, from windows to larger areas. This allows for the creation of three-dimensional prints, opening up new aesthetic and expressive languages that have yet to be explored, consisting not only of colour but also of relief shapes and materiality. Playful interactions of light and shadow, tactile effects, forms, designs, and embossed writing become the hallmarks of this new and unique technology born at GRAF, applicable to multiple sectors, from design to industry, and from furniture to architecture.
This year more than ever, GRAF Synergy is proud to open the doors to its world for all industry professionals and design and furniture enthusiasts: we look forward to welcoming you from 19th to 22nd March at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, Hall 3, stand 3-315.
Nonetheless, to confirm 2024 as a year of great significance for GRAF Synergy, the doors will open, and not just figuratively, on 18 April 2024 in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, for the grand opening of the new and larger GRAF headquarters, just minutes from Toronto airport. Thanks to the new location, customers from the Canadian and North American markets will have access to a seamless SL4 FF EVO welder in operation for demonstrations on any profile requested by the local market.
There are many reasons to meet and discover what GRAF Synergy can do to maximize the quality and productivity of all window manufacturers.
