Graf Synergy once again participated in the Fesqua trade fair this year, a key event for the PVC and Aluminium window industry in Brazil. The 2016 exhibition took place, as usual, at the “Centro de Exposições Imigrantes” in downtown São Paulo, from 21st to 24th September.
The figures for the Brazilian market are very interesting as it is in full expansion. Currently, the share of PVC stands at 4%, but given the recent developments in energy-saving regulations and the significant investments made by major European, Turkish, and Chinese PVC profile producers, it is expected that this will rise from the current 4% to over 20% in just a few years.
The year 2016 marks a significant turning point, as at least 80% of aluminium window manufacturers expressed interest in developing or at least studying the possibility of a PVC line.
A key highlight of the exhibition was the “V-Perfect” brand, showcased alongside display boxes featuring sample corners welded with the innovative and unique SL4-FF EVO! (www.v-perfect.it).
The stand showcased numerous examples of welded squares featuring highly technological and innovative profiles. For instance, the WarmCore profile produced by the English company Synseal is a PVC profile with an integral aluminium cover and a thickness exceeding 2mm. Another example is the Profine ‘pro Cover tec’, a PVC profile completely coated with a second layer of cast polymer, which is highly resistant to wear from both natural elements (sun, heat, cold, etc.) and contact (impacts, scratches). Additionally, there are PVC profiles painted with innovative paints developed by Renner Italia, which ensure excellent durability over time. Lastly, the Rehau Geneo features co-extruded fibreglass in a PVC compound, making the profile much more resistant and, in some cases, allowing for the exclusion of reinforcement. All these innovative profiles are challenging to weld without the assistance of our unique SL4-FF technology, which enables the V-Perfect welding process.
